Why Asian elephants are unique?

There are two major types of elephants in the world, the African and Asian elephant. Both have distinct features that differentiate both of them from each other. The African elephants are known to be more aggressive and dangerous than the Asian ones. The environment and the type of habitat they are in is one factor they differ from each other. Why Asian elephants are unique? Most of the elephants have tusks, but did you know those female Asian elephants don't have tusks? And even some Asian male elephants don't have as well? Well, if you don't, read on. Female Asian elephants either totally don't have tusks or have just simple tusks. Such simple tusks are called 'tushes' in females. Also, not every single male elephant have tusks; and some totally don't have it.
