Tatiana Kukanova’s Photography Tips on Camera Equipment
Nowadays, professional photographers like me, Tatiana Kukanova, always
share photographs online. But sadly, because of this, many people who are
beginners in photography have the impression that the more equipment
photographers have, and the more
expensive they are, the better your pictures will be. Of course, some pieces of camera gear are
necessary, but it does not necessarily mean that you should hoard equipment to be able to produce good photographs.
Here, I will quickly discuss the most necessary camera equipment you will need.
This is: Tatiana Kukanova’s Camera Equipment Tips:
Camera
Needless to say, every photographer needs cameras. For beginners, I suggest that you start with
an entry-level DSLR or mirrorless camera.
These are good cameras for beginners and advanced photographers alike,
yet they are easy to use.
Lens
Along with your camera, the most vital equipment in photography is the
lens. If you are a beginner, I advise you to get the inexpensive kit lens that
zoom which offers versatility and are of
good quality.
Memory Card
A memory card stores your photos and lets
you transfer them to your computer. I advise that you get a memory card that is
at least 32 GB, so you won’t have to worry about deleting good pictures just
for the sake of your storage capacity.
Tripod
The value of tripods to a photographer depends on the type of
photography they do. Personally, I rarely use my tripod since I shoot nature
and wildlife, which rarely requires the use of one. But if you would like to
own a tripod, I would advise you to find something you think you would like to
own and read some reviews about it before you buy, since all tripods have
compromises.
Flash
A flash is important if you want to shoot in dark environments or if
you want to brighten the dark shadows in your picture. Most of the cameras
nowadays already have pop-up flashes, but if you’d like to buy one, I suggest
that you buy a flash that can work even if it’s not attached to your camera.
After all of the things I’ve discussed, remember that the number of
your camera equipment does not define the
quality of your photographs.
